Arrow!

What a lucky lucky evening. Around noon we first saw the signs for the Arrow set, we drove around but we found them finally around six in the evening with good, very good luck.
I've been a Supernatural fan for a long time now and it wasn't my first set visit, but my first at a set other than Supernatural. It was the best visit ever.

One of the reasons for this was simply that we got allowed to stay right in the middle of it. First they shot inside something like an storage building and of course we had to stay outside. But Stephen Amell walked past us just about 8 m away from us. They told us it was allowed to do photographs as long as we wouldn't use flash. Video taking was not allowed.

I don't want to spoil you, so I'm just telling, we also saw Colton Haynes and later Paul Blackthorne.
After the sun was finally gone they started shooting outside and instead of asking us to move they told us that we were fine just where we were.
They just parked their tools and stuff around us. Yes, they just moved their stuff to us. They asked us to stay out of the eye line of the actors so that their eyes wouldn't flicker to us while they should stay focused elsewhere.
Now after they finished some scenes and moved around they told us where we could go to see better and really, they shot scenes just a couple of meters away from us. I never been so close to a shot.

Around the time they did their last shot we got told that we could take photos SITTING IN one of the police cars they used for shooting. With the lights on! OMG! We just couldn't stop smiling and so we sat inside and took pictures.

Then they started wrapping but it wasn't the end for us just now.
Instead someone asked the wonderful director of this episode (season 2, episode 6), GUY NORMAN BEE to come and greet us, even to give us autographs. Now we followed Guy on Twitter since he was on Supernatural and he is even more nice then on twitter. Imagine, it was around 1 in middle of the night and he probably wanted just to go home into his warm bed. Instead he came and talked to us
So Mel and I (the two women from germany) want to say a warm thank you to everyone on set, especially Vern, Cameron and of course Guy.

Everyone made us feel welcome and not weird. The atmosphere of how they work was very focused on their work but we never felt like intruders.
So for everyone to stumble upon their (or any) set in the future, please keep it so relaxed and try to stay out of the way while they work. And keep quiet while they're rolling.
